O-I-See Youth Strategies was established in 2011 driven by a need outside our school and supportive systems for children, families, and professionals. We offer support, guidance, and tutoring for youth and families in a safe and confidential setting.
OISYS’ Tutoring works to increase skills within specific academic disciplines, helping to ensure individual academic success. Typically youth, coming to us for help, are challenged with a specific set of skills (such as math or reading) and/or are protected under Special Education laws.
OISYS’ Guidance strives to achieve social and emotional success for youth and young adults (18 to 20 years of age). Our work exercises all aspects of life while exercising forward-thinking and goal setting skills.

Jennifer NilssenJennifer received her Masters of Educational Psychology with an emphasis in School Counseling in 2010, created OISYS in 2011, and in 2012 she decided to pursue guiding youth and families, full-time, through O-I-See Youth Strategies. She maintains her WI School Counseling state licensing (in order to keep current with the ever-changing school systems), and has maintained professional memberships with the American School Counseling Association. She has extended her education with Restorative Justice, Wisconsin Counselor’s Association, Hazelden, Family Ties, and QPR Suicide workshops. She achieved her 2015 goal of officially incorporating a Non Profit called O-I-See Family Strategies, and her future goals include additional personality assessment certifications and expansion of O-I-See Youth Strategies.
